7.21.04-@ the Key Club,LA

Just like last time we arrived pretty late we missed the first band, but we made it for the last two songs...i hate it when my sister drives, i should've drove, she doesnt give a shit about my events but, when its hers we have to rush to get there on time, such bullshit....Anyway, Key Club is a lot nicer than the Roxy, it has mor space and shit, its pretty awesome, you guys show check it out, if you havent already.  From what i saw of the first band they were pretty decent...After they played SoiL came on stage, they're alright not a HUGE fan of them but still enjoyable, i liked the base player he's pretty cool, i almost got a pic from him, but somebody else got it o'well i dont care, i took a few pictures of him and the guitarist....by that time the pit was all getting krazy, and i made it up in front near Lizz this girl i met on Xanga, and then david was next to me and then one of the few Wayne wannabe's...i didnt like this one though, there is one guy that has Wayne hair and i see him almost at everyshow and ive talk to him before he's pretty tight...but this guy next to me was dick but he got kicked later on HAHAHA sucka....SO then after SoiL went off the techy's were all setting up for Static-X and i saw that one guy that was talking to Tripp @ the roxy that one time...he kinda reminds me of Chester of LP, well his face does a lil, but anyway, yea they opened up with Destroy All, it was amazing i never get tired of them they're the best!hmm what else I saw Morgan on back stage taking pics, shes so awesome...i got lost of pics of Tripp, i think i got a couple of Nick and Tony, and i think i have a few of Wayne...i like his Adidas too...then later on Wayne announced, that it was Vanessa's Birthday, So we all sang Happy B-Day to her, that was cool...OH yea My sis was up there with her friend drinking...and they were sitting on the table next to Vanessa's!!!! and they saw Tripp and Nick up there too, before they came on but they didnt notice till it was too late! god they're stupid, hahaha...after that they all took their shots, this time Tripp drank it. They also played Down and Breathe from their new album, i've hear down before, but not live so that was cool and Breathe was awesome..oh yea, so towards the end of the show that wayne wannabe next to me, attempted to go on stage just like all the other crowd surfers did BUT THEY ALL FAILED, hahah suckas...but the thought since he was against the stage it would be easier, so he was half way up when suddenly Tripp came and kicked him back in with his boots that was funny shit...Wayne wannabe messed up the lights, what a dick....but yea overall that was a kickass show... and i cant wait for the next....

-i will get my pics up as soon as i get them back from development.^_^

3.29.03-The ROXY,LA

THE BEST STATIC SHOW I HAVE EVER EVER BEEN TOO...EVEN david agrees that STATIC-X has the best LIVE SHOWS....but now i will start from the beggining, well....It was @ the ROXY, the list was some shitty band that started w/ a "D", then PRONG(fuck yea,ive seen them before they're bad ass),GODHEAD and STATIC-X, the show aslo started @ 8:00pm...We arrived at there @ 8:10 so we were at the very end of the huge ass line T_T, BUT!!!!!! i am GLAD cuz in the end it didnt really matter, but any as the line was moving that crappy band that starts with a "D" was playing so i didnt really care. we then made it to the door, and i to the left of the door was the lil box office thing(selling the tickets) then a lil bit next to that was....GOD(FUCKN TRIPP"REX"EISEN himself)talking to his friend/tech guy i assume...i started to panic cuz they were forcing me in then my sister pushed me out the door so i could get the pic..I CANT BELIEVE NOBODY REALLY NOTICED HIM, i was like dude its fuckn TRIPP EISEN, so i walked up and asked him if i could get a pic with him, my sis took a pic and then we had to go back in side, i went in looking for david,to try to get him a pic with Tripp also so i was chillen near the bar looking out for him. then the guy talking to tripp walked by and said wutsup and what not and then TRIPP walks by me, points and touches my WHITE DEADSY CHAIN(that chain is blessed by his essence now) and smiles and nods his head, we all know why, well if you dont it cuz(he likes DEADSY and he too has a WHite DEADSY Chain along with a black one) but anyway i spot david and i tell him about Tripp, then Tripp somehow pops up behind us talking to MORGAN(Addmin.from the STATIC-X Message Board)We were like "oh shit" so then david gets a pic w/Tripp and we talk and then i talk to Morgan then the two go up stairs to get ready...The Second band PRONG comes on(ive seen them before at the first show i saw STATIC-X at the HOB, but i never noticed that the Singer/BASS was Fucking TONY CAMPOS,for those of you who dont know who that is, he is the BASS for STATIC-X)so then i take pics of him, i liked it they were good... THe Third was GODHEAD,they were decent, on the side of stage where the upstairs entrance was, stood TONY,TRIPP and MORGAN all headbanging around it was tight....by then i was behind the some guy at the very front where the rail was...took some pics then saved the rest for STATIC-X...FINALLY STATIC-X comes out and i was against the rail directly against it and infront of WAYNE STATIC, they opended playing "DESTROY ALL" off of their third album SHADOW ZONE. I had the best view and the best pics, i took so many close up action shots and pose and everything it was the best show ever, I even got to touch waynes guitar while he was playing and i touched his knee, i also got to touch TRIPPS HAIR, BOOT AND DEADSY CHAIN..it was so FUCKING KRAZY... I ASLO GOT TRIPPs' and TOnys' guitar pics and then at the very end, NICK(drums) walked out throwing his sticks to people, i yelled out at him and took a pic and he through me a stick (that stick makes up for the one i some guy grabbed away from me, when KEN JAY,the ex-drummer, threw his stick to me, damn that GUY !!!!) so yea i was happy... later when we walked out to the car, this guy came up too me saying "that was the best show ever, your band was fucking awesome...etc" i was like,"WTF?!" , he asked to take a pic with me and i was like , "uhhhhhh...sure" and so they did adn my sister, david and eddie were fucking cracking up, HE THOUGHT I WAS FUCKing TRIPP, i thought, DUDE?! your fucking dumb! ahah that was funny then thats basically it, well there is lil bits here and there i didnt include, cuz its not necessary. so yea THAT FUCKN ROCKED!!!

-TRIPP's ANSWERS!!!!!yay!!

*ToAsT*

Q: #1. i saw the band play last year, at House of Blues, in Anaheim. I was wondering where I might be able to meet u guys, is there a way at all? cuz i don't know where the busses would be at over there.

Tripp: the buses are in the back and you can't really get to them, .we try to get out in front of the club after the show as soon as we can. But there are usually lots of friends and music industry people to talk to when we do Los Angeles-area shows like that.

Q: #2 how did you feel about Ken leaving the band?

Tripp: We parted ways due to musical differences, and at this point we choose not to discuss the details publicly out of respect for everyone involved.

Q: #3 How are you and your girlfriend?

Tripp: We are both doing fine. Though we are split up.

06.03.2003 - STATIC-X set to release "Shadow Zone" cd this Sept.
STATIC-X CURRENTLY IN STUDIO MIXING THIRD ALBUM
Shadow Zone;

BAND TO DEBUT NEW MATERIAL WHILE
ON TOUR THIS SUMMER

Static-X, whose platinum-plus Warner Bros Records debut release Wisconsin Death Trip (1999) and follow-up Machine (2001) have firmly cemented the band as hard rock heroes to fans around the world, are hard at work in Los Angeles on their third album Shadow Zone. Due out early fall, this album teams the band with producer Josh Abraham (Staind, Limp Bizkit, Unwritten Law).
The new album reveals the next step in the evolution of Static-X. Frontman/guitarist/founder Wayne Static says,"I hate it when bands keep making the same record over and over, so we're pushing ourselves to try new things and experiment in our writing approach. I feel these are the strongest songs we have ever written.
The band -- bassist Tony Campos and guitarist Tripp Eisen, along with Static -- a leaner more refined unit with the departure of drummer Ken Jay earlier this year (Josh Freese) of Perfect Circle and Vandals fame, handled the duties in the studio and a touring replacement has not yet been chosen) --has also benefited from additional creative input from Eisen, who joined Static-X in 2001," we have been working on these songs for over a year now and we've tried a lot of different grooves and sounds, but collaboration has been the key."says Eisen.
A string of U.S. dates this Summer with Staind should be the perfect way for fans to get a sample of whats to come from the new CD. "we're anxious to hit the road again and play some new songs for everyone, and we're equally excited to play along side our good friends Staind." says Static.
